I've tended bar, freelanced, and temped. I've worked with non-profits, Fortune 500s, energy providers, tech companies, lawyers, financial advisors, stationery retailers, ticket sellers, public broadcasting, and even did a stint at a kennel.

I create experiences and connect people to brands, ideas, events, services, and each other.

Currently, I'm bringing the sass to SaaS at a content agency that specializes in marketing for B2B software companies. As their in-house senior copywriter, I write alllll the things: blogs, emails, whitepapers, case studies, eBooks, nurture campaigns, webpages, and more.

A few years ago, I wrapped up a comms project for a tech executive after bringing candid personality to a now not-so-stuffy law firm's brand via a digital and content marketing manager role. Prior to that, I was a copywriter who humanized B2B marketing efforts. And before that, I managed a marketing program at a transportation non-profit. ​

​I go into every experience with eyes and ears open, learning a little bit more about this great world to help translate the jargon for the rest of us.

Senior Copywriter | Content Matterz | Since 2022

I'm the lead in-house writing resource for a B2B-focused content marketing agency, sharing my SEO prowess, word-rearranging wizardry, and general copywriting magic. Our clients span FinTech, cybersecurity, MedTech, and other regulated and non-regulated industries

Communications Manager | Microsoft (contractor) | 2021-2022

Took a (brief) gander into the Microsoft universe as a consultant working with a senior executive in the BizApps arena. I gave their online persona a makeover and offered guidance to improve connection and comradery with the executive's team. Though this contract project was short-term, I created scalable thought leadership strategy, brand, and social media content while providing ghost and copywriting/editing for Microsoft blogs and individual amplification content.

Digital and Content Marketing Manager | Schwabe | 2020-2021

Leveraging my experience as a copywriter and editor, I managed Schwabe’s social media channels and email marketing program while improving the website, providing internal/external comms panache, and implementing creative, integrated (and often events-based) marketing strategy for the firm's Client Relations team. I did a lot, and I always tried to do it as efficiently and elegantly as possible.

Marketing Writer | Deloitte/Deloitte Digital (contractor) | 2019–2021

I wrote/edited all the things: B2B and B2C content for blogs, events, social media, internal/external comms, thought leadership, etc., while, at the same time, copy editing marketing materials, RFPs, and presentations for consistency and tone to align with multiple brand style guides. Collaborated across teams and time zones to develop events outreach, presentations, newsletters, and collateral. A majority of the content focused on cloud technology and platforms, enterprise-focused machine learning/artificial intelligence, and innovation within the human experience.

I enjoy running, Polaroids, KEXP, hockey, and my cats Carl and Gus.

I've completed a few marathons, appeared in a Japanese art magazine, had cameos in music videos, and shown my portraits in Chicago, Seattle, and New York.
